A 488 word fic about Velvette reminiscing over how she has somehow ended up as BFFs with two horrible old men.
Velvette having used people, all people, ever since she was alive fits her perfectly. We know she can make friends, but that they really aren't actual friends for her, just people to use, it makes her being flabbergasted about having actual friends even better. Especially as they aren't the type she would have expected to fill that niche, if it ever filled.
And, of course, I love that none of the Vees would actually want to have gone to Heaven. At least, not without also being able to be who they are in Hell. Makes Vox's idea of taking over Heaven definitely more to do with their power. Not to do with any actual desire to have gotten to Heaven deliberately.
