The most recent fic I've read. Vox giving gifts is something I really enjoy, and I was super excited to see what piano had to do with it all! This fic is 885 words, easily digestible, and is so soft.
I really loved how he had to make sure the gift he got for Velvette was equal to the gift he got for Val. Overhearing Velvette talk about the piano, in a rather public forum, but in a way where she is unlikely to realize he would have known? I really want a fic now where she receives the gift. I want to see her reaction!
I also love how this fic says Vox does know how to play the piano, because I've read a lot of people going on about how he was faking it in "When We Get Up There" meaning he doesn't know at all. I like to think he does, so I'm happy when a fic says he does.
